REDO Facilitators
Heading 5
I am an experienced psychotherapist with a variety of experiences. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I have been involved with the Rochester Eating Disorders Organization (REDO) for over 34 years. I had a strong desire as I started out in my career to work with people who have eating disorders and found my home with REDO. I have loved my work facilitating a support group for members who work hard in finding peace with food. In addition to my work with REDO I currently work full-time as a school social worker at Rush-Henrietta Central School District where I work with children and families. I also have a part time private practice where I offer individual and family therapy sessions for people of all ages.
Amy (She/Her)
As a licensed clinical social worker for over 25 years, I have always had a passion for understanding and working with people, helping them make connections, find their strengths, and manage their obstacles. In my work with people with eating disorders specifically, I have worked in the medical inpatient setting and as a group facilitator at REDO for the past 10 years. It is at REDO that I found a platform that resonates with my values as a practitioner. REDO’s philosophy of intuitive eating and making peace with food has kept me engaged in a way that is meaningful, and most helpful for those who are brave and continue with their recovery process. In addition to my work with REDO, I am a fulltime social worker at Fairport Central School District. I also have a part time private practice, where I offer individual and family therapy for various issues.
Lehana (She/Her)
I cherish being able to support people as they learn to walk a new path. I get the opportunity to to this as a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate in the state of North Carolina. I received my Bachelor of Social Work form Nazareth University in 2022 and my Master of Social Work from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2023. I found my home at Rochester Eating Disorders Organization (REDO) over three years ago. I started as an intern and never left. I take great joy in working with my group members to help them find increased peace within themselves. I want my group to be a open, honest, and understanding place for people to explore their relationship with food, emotions, and their body. In my full-time role I work in a primary care clinic alongside medical providers to work with people who have conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and chronic pain.
